A mobility aid system for assisted living facility focused on improving quality of life, mobility and networking.
Challenge:
Creating a transportation hub for an assisted living facility focused on improving quality of life, mobility and networking.

I began by conducting an extensive analysis of the current market landscape for walkers. This involved a thorough examination of existing products, identifying their strengths and weaknesses, and understanding the evolving trends in walker designs. Following this, I conducted interviews to gain deeper insights into user experiences and preferences. From data gathered from market research and user interviews, I was able to shape a design that not only addressed the current challenges but also anticipated and catered to the future requirements of walker users.

The human interface device which is attached to the walker allows data collection for health and location monitoring which can be shared with family members, doctors and caregivers for a better understanding of patients needs.

This innovative mobility solution with an forward-thinking approach, allowing users to personalize their experience by easily swapping out parts to suit their individual preferences and requirements. The mobility aid also connects to a network which monitors health and aids in peace of mind for family and data for doctors.

The platform was designed to enhance the digital experience for seniors family members and staff in assisted living facilities. It provides a clear, easily navigable interface that focuses on presenting essential information, from personal goals to analytics.
